It was a chilly morning on Wednesday, November 19th, 2022 when our volunteers assembled on base at NAS JRB Fort Worth at Fleet and Family Services to distribute that Thanksgiving meals to the military families on base!
We were blessed to have so many volunteers from military support organizations that support our cause. Thank you to all of the volunteers from the Fort Worth Air Power Council, the Airpower Foundation, Roll Call, Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter, Freedom Mobility Foundation and more for coming together to help us execute this massive undertaking! We are also so grateful to Fleet and Family Services and NAS JRB Base Leadership for their efforts to help us identify and reach the military families in need. We even had service members show up to volunteer to distribute!
With your donations and support, we were able to provide over 500 local military families with enough food for Thanksgiving Dinner and for a whole week worth of groceries. For a young military family, a week of the grocery bill makes an incredible difference especially going into the holiday season.
