Every year on the day before our Military Family Christmas Party, sponsor families, corporate sponsors, volunteers and friends come together at the generosity of Kerre and Bob Ortegel to organize all of the gifts and have a celebration of all the hard work that has been done to support our military families at Christmas.
We were privileged to have 4 Medal of Honor Recipients attend our Gathering. Lt. Col. Will Swenson, Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Britt Slabinski, Major James Taylor and Corporal Kyle Carpenter. The President of the Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, Chris Cassidy was also in attendance. We are proud to support the efforts of the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation as they are building the Medal of Honor Museum right down the road in Arlington, TX.
A wonderful evening was had by all as we loaded up the uhauls and got ready to distribute the gifts at our 2022 Annual Military Family Christmas Party on base the next day.
